Areldors Opponents with Special Effects

In the lands of Areldor, opponents have been discovered with unusual effects that are applied to heroes during combat. Six such effects have been identified so far, making battles more dangerous and unpredictable.

Effects affecting heroes:

• Decreased Regeneration Chance - heroes regenerate health less frequently.
• Decreased Evasion Chance - heroes find it harder to dodge attacks.
• Critical Reduction Chance - heroes' chance to land a critical hit is reduced.
• Decreased Combo Attack Chance - heroes perform additional attacks less often.

Effects protecting monsters:

• Decreased Magical Damage Taken (%) - magical attacks deal less damage to monsters.
• Decreased Physical Damage Taken (%) - physical attacks are less effective against monsters.

The higher the monster's level, the higher the chance it will have an effect and the stronger that effect will be. Even familiar battles can become unexpectedly challenging due to these traits.

In the legends of Areldor, tales are already told of heroes encountering these effects for the first time. One of them noticed that magical damage barely affected a special monster, which forced him to seek new spells and ways to bypass its defenses - it is such encounters that make adventures truly thrilling.
