While our forces continue to hold back the corruption along known frontiers, scouts and mountain patrols have delivered troubling news: new points of demonic infiltration have been discovered.

Beneath the ruins of Gorgrimm, deep within the halls where dwarven forges once thundered, disturbing activity has been detected in the Ash Depths. The lower chambers, long believed abandoned, now burn once more with unnatural heat and infernal whispers. Demons have seized the shattered corridors, turning ancient forges into nests for their vile offspring.

No less alarming is the situation in the Cinder Rift - a scorched chasm hidden within the Brenn Mountains. This ancient fracture, once among the earliest gateways through which infernal forces entered Areldor, has shown renewed activity. Lesser demons now emerge more frequently from collapsed tunnels, while the unbearable heat in the mountain passes tests even the hardiest warriors.

The Council of Areldor declares both regions high-threat zones. All those capable of bearing arms are urged to aid in cleansing these corrupted lands and halting the spread of the corruption.

Those who slay demonic creatures may obtain valuable trophies, highly sought after by merchants, alchemists, and blacksmiths.
